Delete your SameTable account

How to delete

• In the app: Account → Delete account.
• On the web: sign in below and follow the steps on this page.
• Can't sign in? Email support@sametable.co from the address on your account. We'll confirm it's you and delete it within one month.

Before you delete: subscriptions

If you pay for SameTable Pro through the App Store or Google Play, deleting your account does not cancel that subscription. Cancel it first in your App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.

What happens to your data

• Deleted straight away: your profile, sign-in, preferences, diets and allergies, ratings and reviews, points, badges and cooking history, your photos, and unpublished recipes.
• Your household: if you're its only adult, it's deleted too, with the member profiles you added, meal plans and shopping lists. If other adults share it, it carries on and one of them becomes the owner.
• Published recipes: stay on SameTable under the SameTable name, without your name. We remove the story field and check them for personal details. You can choose to delete them instead.
• Kept by law: payment records, for 6 years (HMRC).
• Backups: deleted data drops out of our encrypted backups as they expire.
